Management

If you are working in a management or team leading position then this Apprenticeship programme could be for you! 

Team Leading

As a team leader it is likely you will be responsible for how other people carry out their work or for the delivery of a service. The Team Leading Apprenticeship will help you to understand the theories of team leading or how business works, manage your own workload, lead others and work effectively with other people. 

The components of the Team Leading Apprenticeship:

  • EDI Level 2 NVQ Certificate in Team Leading (QCF)
  • EDI Level 2 Certificate in Team Leading Principles
  • Functional Skills Maths or Key Skills Application of Number at level 1
  • Functional Skills English or Key Skills Communication at level 2
  • Employment Rights and Responsibilities – completion of a workbook

Management

In the role of manager you may be responsible for leading or supervising others, planning and implementing change, managing a project or budget, encouraging innovation, carrying out operational plans, or recruiting and selecting.  The Management Advanced Apprenticeship will help you to understand management theories, legal and regulatory legislation, motivating others, project planning as well as managing people and resources.

The components of the Management Advanced Apprenticeship:

  • EDI Level 3 NVQ Certificate in Management (QCF)
  • EDI Level 3 Certificate in Management Principles (QCF) 
  • Functional Skills Maths or Key Skills Application of Number at level 2
  • Functional Skills English or Key Skills Communication at level 2
  • Employment Rights and Responsibilities – completion of a workbook

Learning Methods

You will learn from undertaking real tasks in your place of work, as well as receiving individual support from your Learning Advisor.  

Assessment Methods

You will provide evidence that will show you are able to do your job to required standards. Evidence includes observations, included recorded video observations, witness testimonies, discussions, personal statements and photographs, all of which can be uploaded on to e-NVQ our electronic portfolio.
